Taiwan Economic Journal trade publication also links to Apple Cheng Uei Precision, reporting on Monday (original in Chinese, translated by Google) that the company received a large order for parts compressed panel connector, presumably for Apple. Yair Reiner, Oppenheimer analyst predicted a $ 1,000 Apple tablet coming March 2010, the scheduling of manufacturing ramp for February. The media believes that the gadget could be called “iSlate” because Apple said the domain iSlate.com and “iSlate” trademark.
Digitimes, Apple Daily, and a number of trade publications that Apple did not report that charged its former manufacturing partner Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry), with making the gizmo.
