Panasonic just announced the world’s first digital camera interchangeable lens system with a LCD screen phone in the form of the Lumix DMC-G2, which can control play and easy snapping of photos. As you can tell by your model number alone, the Lumix DMC-G2 is the successor to the revolutionary and award-winning Lumix G1, which coincidentally was the first Micro Four Thirds digital camera in the world. The inclusion of an intuitive touch control capability will increase the operational capability of the camera while trying to shoot photos and you will be able to adjust the autofocus (AF) simply by playing it big 3 “LCD 460.000-point high resolution. Apart from the great silences future, the Lumix G2 is also more than capable of handling high definition video to 720p thanks to AVCHD Lite.

It’s good to know that the touch screen is not limited to handle the photo session, but can also be used during playback too. Touch only allows a thumbnail view in all its glory, when you drag the photos across the screen to navigate is very easy, as simple as turning pages of a book, although we are sure it will not be as transparent as experience in iPhone. Every time you lock the item, the G2 Lumix allow tracking AF, while monitoring the subject as it moves within the frame. Other than that, touching the screen also lets you choose the piece and the size of the AF area 1-area AF. There’s also manual focus for those who prefer to gain more control over image quality.

Other features include a 12.1 megapixel Live MOS sensor, high speed, high-performance Venus Engine HD II, smart technology resolution, a dust reduction system and a lot of software to get you started to work on editing your own videos. The Panasonic LUMIX G2 will hit the market soon, which will come in red, blue and black colors.
