Fujifilm has launched a 3D printing system, which is advertised to achieve high print quality and natural 3D captured with a 3D digital camera. Composed of a printer and a PC, this new system seems to be perfect for 3D location photography at tourist sites, theme parks, events and other places that capture the imagination in 3D. In printing photographs of the site is also a snap, thanks to the small size needed, while integrated Fujifilm’s “Picture Intelligencee” The technology lets you print using sublimation in order to transfer images directly onto lenticular sheets to create an effect 3D. No idea on pricing but a 3D printer does not seem cheap insurance. Ah, well, we’ll just find out come Q2 2010.
