If you are looking for an easy way to design something out of your laptop, then look no further. HP Notebook Companion projection should satisfy your needs in a very compact package.

The new HP Notebook Power LED projection Companion project up to 60 inches to 8.5 feet away. In measuring only 4 x 3 inches and weighs less than 1 pound, this tiny device is at right angles to regular full-sized pico-projectors and the projectors we’ve been hearing about, but they offer images underwhelming.

It pumps 100 lumens and has a contrast ratio of 800:1. Is the resolution is 858 × 600. Actually does not look as bad as brushed aluminum case. It works well and is way brighter than the pico-projectors. I’d rather have a bigger screen if there was a presentation to give, but if you have the option, this device should do the job. The projector will be available on 15 January and will sell for $ 499 (USD).
